I love my hair!! In under 3 hours I had my hair washed and dried and my bundles installed. She did such a great job and was very professional. Also loved that she had the mousse she used readily available to purchase. Reasonable pricing for the high quality work she did. Thank you!

Girl i drove all the way from Modesto (2.5 hours with traffic) at 4 am with a check engine light on and expired tags! Now if that don't tell you how good she is I don't know what will!

My wife had a great experience with this business her first visit. Fast forward to my daughters home coming day. She scheduled a hair appointment for her and showed up on time. We were advised last minute that the appointment was for 12pm and not 1 pm.

When my wife booked the appointment she took a screenshot so she would remember the time. It was for 1 pm today. My wife left a voicemail message and the owner returned her call. The owner was very short without trying to rectify the situation.

There is a cancellation fee and we expect no charge, and our deposit returned due to their system error.
The bank will gladly take care of it for us.

Always take a screenshot of your booking and hope the owner honors your appointment! As a black woman, my wife was highly disappointed that another black woman would lack professionalism when doing business with them. #GetBetter

D'mara is probably the only person doing weaves near San Jose! So I was very lucky to find her.

She's done a couple of installs for me, both of which I enjoyed while it lasted. I was a first time weave-wearer or whatever you call it, and D'mara was very sweet and informed me on how to to cake care of the hair.

The second install she did for me was for engagement photos. I loved it! See pics!

D'mara is not only the best & most professional hairdresser I have ever gone to but she is a miracle worker. Her style & creativity combined with her ethics, values, perfectionism & honesty are just a few things that make her so amazing.

She also has an outstanding product line with the best hair growth and anti itch spray I have tried. She is patient and will explain any upkeep or process that you need to keep your hair looking fabulous. The hair bundles that she sells are the best quality.

I had the pleasure of meeting D'Mara today at her beautiful location off El Camino in Santa Clara. I am new to all this and was a bit skeptical at first. D'Mara professionally took in all my questions and was able to fully execute the hair of my dreams! She's so cool and fun to talk to aside from her talent. If you're looking to get in, you'll need to wait. And it's pricey, but all good things are. Don't be cheap with your hair and expect great results. You get what you pay for. I recommend :)

D'Mara's skills are top notch -- she is extremely talented!

I had suffered some hair loss resulting from a concurrent combination of Lyme disease and severe anxiety and grief over my mom's shocking cancer diagnosis and subsequent death a few months later. I was the only child, and as such, sole caregiver. On top of the Covid restrictions, that was too much for me to handle, and I cut my hair, thinking it would be one less thing for me to have to deal with.

Well, I quickly ended up hating my new short hairstyle, and wanted the long locks I'd had before. Thanks to D'Mara's supreme wig-making skills, I now have a beautiful, full head of long, luxurious hair! I am thrilled. My confidence is back, and that's spilled over into a very positive impact on my anxiety, depression, and even physical well-being.

I feel like "me" again!

Update: tried to revert my natural curls back because that's typically how I wear my hair. My curls did NOT revert and my hair is extremely heat damaged. This was the first time I added heat to my hair in 5 years since my big chop and I went to a professional to avoid heat damage. The most important piece for me was getting an even trim. Now It's damaged in several areas but really bad on my right side & the back of my head. I'm past devastated because I tried everything under the sun (shampoo, conditioner, aztec clay & apple cider vinegar, deep condition) to try to revert them back and nothing worked, meaning I'll probably have to big chop & start over again

Had to try D'Mara after viewing her work with hair extensions! I had the best experience with her and no wait. Full head extensions with closure done in 2hours and 15minutes. I have no glue or tape on my head which I worry about taking out my edges. She did not disappoint and I my hair. Before and after photos are attached. Can't wait for many more styles.

Seven months later, I'm a consistent weekly/bi-weekly client depending how much nourishment my scalp needs! I've been serviced with the following:

In addition to the endless compliments, I've experienced less breakage and shedding which was immediate flag coming from the East coast (harshness of the water? dry climate? stress? perhaps!) I can also not reiterate the level of professionalism given at the shop. This was a big key in deciding to continue commuting from Oakland. I've visited several salons and the kindness, communication and zero wait time is unmatched. Some extra insight below:

Parking: the salon is located in a plaza so plenty of space also, you can grab your groceries and make a target run if needed! I do this out of convenience.

TAT: turnaround time at the shop is pretty fast. Arrive on time and you'll be seated without delay and in/out within the time given during booking. For me, 1-hour (wash/dry + press/style) | 1.75 hours (wash/deep condition (dryer)/ trim/ press/style)

Booking: I love the ease of this! Right online, you can book/reschedule appointment times as needed, see pricing (fair based on the area), etc. You'll receive appointment reminders, which are extremely helpful!
